Justin Lee Stanley an award-winning filmmaker whose primary body of work is documentary television.
Stanley has directed dramatic recreations for many highly rated TV series such as EVIL LIVES HERE, DEAD OF WINTER,SHATTERED,SIGNS OF A PSYCOPATH,TWO SHALLOW GRAVES,andBEFORE THEY KILL AGAIN.
As a cinematographer, Stanley has shot hundreds of hours of TV and served as Director of Photography for the narrative features ALMOST FAMILY and BEATBOX, and for Jane Wagner’s feature documentary BREAK THE GAME, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2023, and Branislav Jankic’s short documentary WHITE BELT (Tribeca Film Festival 2026).
Stanley’s latest personal project, a short documentary titled STRONGER THAN THE STORM, recently won the Grand Jury Prize and Audience Award for Best Short Documentary at the 2025 Gasparilla International Film Festival.
